The Dividing has Begun...

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth, I came not to send peace, but a sword.  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. (Matthew 10:34-38)

The Lord is bringing a great division among those in the body of Christ who have chosen to follow Him, from those who have made the choice not to follow Him. Many of you are experiencing this right now as families are being divided, relationships are being severed, and those in the body of Christ who are willing to forsake all for the Kingdom, are moving on past those who choose to remain lukewarm and live for self. We are at a very crucial time in history as we enter the latter days of this last generation. God is preparing His warriors for battle and the Spirit of God is moving among His people, empowering them with wisdom and revelation for what's to come. We must recognize that even though we love our family and our friends, we must leave behind those who are not willing to take up their cross daily and follow Christ into the plan He has for our lives. The greatest commandment of all is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and we must commit to doing just that, no matter what the cost.

When Jesus called a certain man to follow him, the man told Him, let me first go bury my father, and then I will come and follow you. But Jesus said unto that man, "Let the dead bury their dead, but go thou and preach the kingdom of God." (Luke 9:59,60) In other words, the man wanted to wait until his father died before he would follow Him, but Jesus reminded the man that the Kingdom of God must come first in our lives. We must be commited to His Kingdom even before our own family and lives. If we keep our hearts and minds on the Lord and what He desires for us to accomplish, everything else will work out for our good. Let God take care of those we leave behind because we can only pray for those who refuse to follow. We can only hope that their eyes will be opened to see the importance of forsaking all for the Kingdom of God...
